The Soprintendenza speciale per i beni archeologici di Roma celebrate the 2000th anniversary of Vespasianus birth, with an amazing new exhibition through the main buildings of Fori Imperiali monumental complex.
This exhibition, also, highlights an Emperor often put aside by the obscure madness of Nero and the enlighten governance of Adrianus, even if Vespasianus played an essential role in the Roman Empire history.
He modified the structure of the political authorities as well as the Empire government: the same accession that led him to the head of Rome upset the power rules of the ancient world.
Ideated by Filippo Coarelli and realized with the Comitato per le Celebrazioni del Bimillenario, the exhibition will lead the visitor to discover the heart of the Empire and of the Eternal City: the Curia (exceptionally open to public), Divus Vespasianus Temple, Titus Arch, Pax Temple, the Domus Flavia and the Cryptopotricus of Nero, in addition to the magnificent monument of Colosseo.
