In 2012 by all the museums and monuments which take part to the event

The Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali offers a free entrance to all the European citizen during their birthday!
The event takes place in the main monuments and museums of Italy and it's part of the celebrations for the 150° anniversary of the Italian Republic.

This small present is ment to offer the possibility to celebrate the Italian Republic, and to discover (once again or for the first time) the treasure of Art kept in the italian monuments and sites.

If your birthday is the closing day of a monument or museum you would like to visit, the offer will be move the the next day avalaible. For those who already enjoy the free entrance, the offer will be moved to a companion of yours who doesn't share the same opportunities.
